Terms of Service

1. Who we are

JobTailor AI (the “Service”) is provided by VOLODS LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16149306, with its registered office at 29 Rosemary Avenue, Grimsby, England, DN34 4JN (“we”, “us” or “our”).

2. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account, installing the browser extension or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service, and you must provide accurate information when you register.

4. Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your login details secure.
• You are responsible for activity that takes place under your account.
• Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

5. What the Service does

The Service helps you apply for jobs by providing tools that:

• analyse a job posting and score how well your resume matches it;
• suggest edits to tailor your resume to a specific job;
• draft cover letters and likely interview questions; and
• track the jobs you have saved and applied to.

6. AI-generated content — no guarantees

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate scores, suggestions and drafts. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable, and you must review everything before you use it.

• You are responsible for the accuracy of your application. You must not submit any resume, cover letter or statement that is untrue or misleading, and you remain responsible for everything you send to an employer.
• Our tools are designed to reframe experience that already appears in your resume, not to invent it. However, you must still check every suggestion before accepting it.
• We do not guarantee any outcome — including interviews, job offers, employment, or that any applicant tracking system will rank your application in a particular way. Match scores are estimates, not predictions.
• The Service does not provide legal, immigration, financial or career advice.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for anything unlawful, fraudulent or deceptive;
• submit content that infringes anyone else's rights;
• upload another person's personal data without a lawful basis for doing so;
• attempt to circumvent plan limits, or access accounts, systems or data that are not yours;
• reverse engineer the Service, or use automated means to scrape, overload or disrupt it; or
• resell or redistribute the Service without our written permission.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules.

8. Your content

You keep all ownership of the content you provide, including your resume. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, process and transmit that content solely to provide the Service to you — which includes sending resume and job text to our AI provider, as described in our Privacy Policy.

As between you and us, you own the resumes and cover letters produced through the Service. Note that AI-generated text may not attract copyright protection in every jurisdiction, and similar output may be generated for other users.

9. Our intellectual property

We own the Service and everything in it — software, design, branding and content — except for your content and third-party materials. Nothing in these terms transfers our intellectual property to you.

10. Plans, pricing and payment

• The Free plan is available at no cost and includes monthly limits on AI generations, tailored resumes and cover letters.
• The Pro plan is offered at the price shown on our pricing page and removes those limits.
• Paid subscriptions renew automatically for the billing period you selected until cancelled. You may cancel at any time, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• We may change our prices. If we change the price of a subscription you already hold, we will give you reasonable notice before it takes effect.

Please note: paid subscriptions are not yet available. While the Pro plan is not live, all features are provided free of charge and no payment is taken.

11. Your cancellation rights

If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you normally have 14 days to cancel a purchase of digital services. By asking us to start providing a paid plan immediately, you agree that we may begin before the end of that period, and you acknowledge that you will lose the right to cancel once the service has been fully performed. This does not affect your other legal rights.

12. Third-party job boards

The Service works alongside third-party websites such as LinkedIn, Indeed and company careers pages. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or partnered with any of those sites. Your use of them is governed by their own terms, and you are responsible for complying with those terms. Third-party sites may change at any time, which may affect how well job detection works.

13. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features, and we may impose or adjust usage limits to keep the Service running reliably for everyone. Where changes are significant, we will give reasonable notice if we can.

14. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these terms, or if we are required to do so by law. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and we may delete your data in line with our Privacy Policy.

15. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer, including your right to services carried out with reasonable care and skill.

16. Our liability

We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so — this includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, and for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Subject to that, we are not liable for loss of employment or job opportunities, loss of profit, loss of business, or any indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability to you arising out of or in connection with the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or £100.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will update the date at the top of this page, and where changes are material we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

18. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you may also bring proceedings in your country of residence, and you keep the protection of any mandatory laws that apply there.
